The Type AD produces a uniform flat spray without hard edges, with tapered edges allowing overlapping for even distribution and an orifice offset 15° to the axis of the dovetail connection for positive alignment.
It is a three piece design available with a male BSPT thread or welding nipple body, in Brass, Stainless Steel or Mild Steel (welding nipple body only), with impact generally greater at narrower spray angles assuming equal flow rates.
