The PU produces a hollow cone spray pattern using an external pintle deflector, with relatively uniform distribution at low pressures and a standard spray angle of 164°, also available with other spray angles.
The pintle deflector is spring loaded and will pop up under pressure to produce the spray pattern, returning to its seat when pressure reduces to prevent ingress from the external process, with the nozzle manufactured in 316 Stainless Steel as standard.
