SDX® spray dry nozzles give you total control, offering a wide variety of orifice sizes, swirl chamber configurations, and spray angles to suit any spray drying application, from small pilot dryers to large-scale industrial production.
Unlike two-fluid nozzles where gas or steam supplies the energy required to atomise the liquid, SDX® centrifugal pressure nozzles use the energy of pressurised liquid feed alone to deliver a hollow cone spray pattern with precise droplet size, flow rate, and spray angle control at pressures up to 700 bar.
This allows consistent, high quality atomisation to be achieved across a broad range of feed materials and industries, which is also advantageous for applications requiring chemical and abrasion resistance, or installations where ease of maintenance, long wear life, and minimal downtime are essential.
