The Type AN produces a wide flat spray pattern with uniform distribution and low impact at low pressures, with a nominal spray angle of 120° or more depending on size.
It uses a simple deflector-type design producing spray at 75° from the inlet orifice for wide angle coverage at low pressures, in a one piece male BSPT thread design resistant to clogging due to its tapered inlet and circular orifice, available in Stainless Steel and Brass as standard.
