The Type BY produces uniform distribution of droplets in a wide angle solid cone spray pattern, with droplet size larger than hollow cone nozzles of equal capacity and spray droplet size increasing as flow increases at the same pressure.
It is a one piece cast body with a removable vane type core that imparts the necessary swirl, with a hexagon body for easy installation that eliminates distortion of the orifice during installation, available with Female BSPT threads in Cast Iron, Stainless Steel and Gunmetal as standard.
